Reservation code, Ticket Number, or ConnectMiles number, and a valid passport for international flights. Depending on the destination, a visa or entry permit may also be required.

Seat selection is available during check-in. Seat pre-selection is free for ConnectMiles Prefer members, passengers with disabilities, passengers with service animals, and children under 12. Other passengers may need to pay for advanced seat assignment depending on the seat type (Economy Extra, Convenient, Regular).

For international flights, passengers must be at the check-in counter at least two hours prior to departure. Flights departing from the United States require arrival 3 hours prior, and flights from Venezuela require 4 hours prior. Valid passport and applicable visas/entry permits are required.

Passengers traveling as part of a group (10 or more passengers on the same reservation) cannot use Web Check-in and must check in at the airport.

1. 1'Cannot check in online' - May occur if you have an outstanding payment, are traveling with pets, or are part of a group of 10 or more.
2. 2'Mobile boarding pass not accepted' - At some airports, you may need to go to the Web Check-in line to get a paper boarding pass printed.
3. 3'Check-in unavailable' - Ensure your flight is operated by Copa Airlines or Copa Airlines Colombia, as codeshare flights may require check-in with the operating carrier.
