Emirates Online Check-In Guide (2026)
Emirates online check-in opens 48 hours before departure and closes 90 minutes before your flight. You can check in via the Emirates website or app, and use self-service kiosks at the airport to print tags and drop bags.

Step-by-Step Check-In Guide
1. Visit the Online Check-in page or use the Emirates App. 2. Enter your surname and Booking Reference/PNR. 3. Select the passengers you'd like to check in. 4. Enter Advance Passenger Information if required. 5. Change seats and add Emirates Skywards numbers if needed. 6. Download your mobile boarding pass or print it.

Booking Reference/PNR, surname, passport, visa if required, ESTA for US-bound flights, health documents if required.
Seat Selection
Free seat selection after online check-in opens, except for Extra Legroom seats. Seat selection fees apply before check-in opens (Regular $7-$40, Preferred $15-$100, Twin $20-$135).
International Check-In Rules
Advance Passenger Information (API) may be required. Passport and visa checks are required.
Group Check-In
Up to 9 passengers (adults and children) traveling together on the same itinerary can check in online together.
Troubleshooting
1. "Cannot complete online check-in" - Proceed to the airport for normal check-in at the Emirates desk. 2. "First flight not Emirates" - Online check-in not available if the first flight is a codeshare not operated by Emirates (e.g., Qantas). 3. "Unaccompanied minor" - Passengers under 16 traveling alone cannot use online check-in and must check in at the airport.
