Standard seat selection is an optional extra for Starter fares, while other fares include different seat options. Fees apply for extra legroom, upfront, and standard seats. If not selected, seats are randomly assigned at check-in for free.

Passport details are required. The Jetstar app offers mobile passport scanning for most international routes. If eligible for 'Straight to Gate' with no checked bags or visa requirements, you can skip the check-in counter. Mobile passport scanning is not available for flights to/from Vietnam or departing from Fiji, Vanuatu, and the Philippines.

Families can select seats together for a fee during booking or check-in. If seats are not selected, they are randomly assigned at check-in for free, but Jetstar attempts to seat families together and ensures young children are seated with a parent or guardian.

1. 1'Can't check in online for domestic flight' - Check if your domestic flight departs from an international terminal, which requires airport check-in.

3. 3'Can't reprint boarding pass at kiosk in Japan' - On all flights departing from Japan, if you already checked in and selected your boarding pass, you cannot reprint it at a kiosk and must see a staff member.
