Porter Airlines Online Check-In Guide (2026)
Porter Airlines online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 60 to 90 minutes before, depending on the destination. Passengers can check in via flyporter.com or the Porter app, but Basic fare passengers must collect their boarding pass at the airport.

Step-by-Step Check-In Guide
1. Visit flyporter.com or open the Porter Airlines app within 24 hours of departure. 2. Enter your booking confirmation number and last name. 3. Add your VIPorter number and provide an email for flight updates. 4. Change or upgrade your seat and pay any baggage fees. 5. Choose to receive your mobile boarding pass via email or print it (Basic fare passengers must pick up boarding passes at the airport).
Documents Needed
Booking confirmation, valid government-issued photo ID for domestic flights, valid passport for international/US flights, and eTA or ESTA if applicable.
Seat Selection
Seat selection is available during check-in. If you don't select a seat, one will be assigned for free. PorterClassic Stretch seats and other preferred seats are available for a fee.
International Check-In Rules
Passengers traveling to the US must provide Secure Flight passenger data (name, gender, date of birth) 72 hours prior to travel. Valid passport is required, and proof of onward/return travel may be requested. eTA or ESTA is required for visa-exempt foreign nationals.
Group Check-In
Families traveling with children under 14 who do not select seats in advance will automatically be assigned suitable seats together approximately 24 hours prior to departure for free.
