IATA Accreditation

Planet Aero LLC, the parent company of Camli, is an IATA-accredited travel agency. IATA (International Air Transport Association) accreditation means we meet strict financial and professional standards set by the global airline industry body.

What IATA accreditation means for you:

  • We issue official airline e-tickets directly — not third-party vouchers or confirmations.
  • Your ticket appears in the airline's own reservation system (PNR) and is fully recognized for check-in, upgrades, and frequent flyer credit.
  • We are subject to regular financial audits by IATA to ensure we can meet our obligations to customers.
  • We have direct settlement agreements with airlines through the IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP).

IATA accreditation can be verified through the IATA Agency Portal. Planet Aero LLC operates under the IATA framework for US-based travel agencies.

Payment Security

Your payment information is protected by industry-standard security measures:

  • PCI DSS Compliance: Our payment processing is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • TLS Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Look for the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.
  • Tokenized payments: Card data is tokenized by our payment processor. Even in the unlikely event of a data breach, card numbers cannot be extracted.
  • 3D Secure: We support 3D Secure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode) for an additional layer of authentication on card payments.

Expert Booking Verification

Unlike fully automated booking platforms, every Camli booking is reviewed by a human specialist before your card is charged:

  1. Availability confirmation: A booking agent verifies that the fare is still available in the airline's inventory at the quoted price.
  2. Passenger detail check: Names, dates of birth, and passport details are verified against airline requirements to prevent ticketing errors.
  3. Fare rule review: The agent confirms change/cancellation policies and flags any restrictions before ticketing.
  4. Ticket issuance: Only after verification is complete does the agent issue the official airline e-ticket and charge your card.

This process typically takes 1–4 hours during business hours. If a fare is no longer available at the quoted price, we contact you before proceeding — we never charge more than the quoted amount without explicit consent.

Data Privacy

We collect only the personal information necessary to process your booking and provide customer support. Our full Privacy Policy details what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Key privacy commitments:

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
  • We do not share your email address with marketing partners.
  • Booking data is retained only as long as required by airline regulations and tax law.
  • You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about your booking or our service:

  2. Escalation: If you are not satisfied with the initial resolution, ask for your case to be escalated to a supervisor.
  3. External resolution: For unresolved disputes, you may file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or your state's consumer protection office.
