Flair Airlines (F8): Flights, Reviews & Booking Guide
Flair Airlines is Canada's leading ultra low-cost carrier, offering no-frills domestic and transborder flights at base fares that start well below legacy carriers. Pay only for what you need — seats, bags, and extras are all à la carte.
About Flair Airlines
Flair Airlines is a Canadian ultra low-cost carrier headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. Originally founded in 2005 as a charter operator in Kelowna, British Columbia, the airline transitioned to scheduled service in 2017 and has since grown into one of Canada's primary budget carriers. Today Flair operates a fleet of 20 Boeing 737 aircraft — 18 MAX 8s and 2 737-800s — serving 25+ destinations across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Flair follows a strict unbundled pricing model: the base fare covers only your seat and one personal item (max 15×33×43 cm, 7 kg). Everything else — carry-on bags, checked luggage, seat selection, and priority boarding — is available as a paid add-on. The entire fleet operates a single-class economy cabin with 189 seats in a 3-3 layout and a minimum seat pitch of 29 inches. Seats are pre-reclined and do not recline further.
The airline does not offer in-flight Wi-Fi, power outlets, or seatback entertainment. Food and drinks are available for purchase on board (Visa and Mastercard only). There is no loyalty program — Flair competes purely on price, positioning itself as the lowest-fare alternative to Air Canada and WestJet on popular domestic and transborder routes.
