Cabin Policy
Volaris allows small dogs and cats to travel in the cabin. The combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 26 lbs (12 kg). The carrier must be a maximum of 17.5 x 12 x 7.5 inches (44 x 30 x 19 cm) and can be made of fabric, rigid plastic, or bubble. The pet must be able to move within the carrier. The carrier must be placed under the seat in front of you during the flight. Only one pet is allowed per container.
Cargo Policy
Volaris allows pets to travel as checked baggage in the cargo hold (pet in belly). The combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 100 lbs (45 kg). The carrier must be rigid, clean, waterproof, well-ventilated, without wheels, and free of objects that could hurt the pet. It must also be scratch-proof, have an anti-escape closure, and have handles to lift it.
